About Us

The Baton Rouge Bead Company grew out of former owner Carolyn Haley's love of beads and beading. We offer our customers a wide selection of beads, findings, supplies and books in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere welcoming novices and professionals alike.

BRBC hosts many classes and shows featuring the talents of nationally recognized artists as well as our own staff and other jewelry artists, where local beading and metalworking enthusiasts can learn a variety of techniques and skills.

Through this website, BRBC shares ideas and projects with the beading and metalworking community. The Idea Gallery projects are the creative efforts of BRBC staff and other artists. For that reason, you'll find handcrafted focal pieces and patterns on this site that you won't see anywhere else.

The Baton Rouge Bead Company store is located at 11943 Coursey Boulevard, near the intersection of Sherwood Forest Blvd. and Coursey Blvd. If you're ever in the area, please stop by to say "hello," browse our merchandise, and chat with us. We'd love to meet you!
